We got pwned guud by Vish yesterday, but we still learned a lot.
Next time we can hopefully get going a bit faster, I am sorry it took so long before we got started... a lot of strats to go over on that encounter.
Kkort reported getting hit by Vish's ae in the room he was sitting in, and there is likely no way to avoid that. According to Zato, as long as the kite team does not hit/cast on Vish, they still should not get hit by the DT even though they get hit by the ae. This remains to be proven though.
Beside that it seemed like Kkort liked the room, and I think that he felt that he and Kelinka could handle the adds if we could get them all dragged there.
Moving the adds to Kkort was definately our main problem yesterday, and we need more devoted knights with mod rods to work on this. Ideally I would like 4 devoted knights that each pull 1 add to the kite room - this will make it a lot easier to deal with the mem blur which kept making Gruum lose adds on the way there yesterday. We also got to see what happens when you kill the low hp adds.... the mob that spawned had good dps, and ate through casters fast so we need to make sure we keep them alive.
Beside that it seemed like our main problem was lack of numbers/dps. When we started getting eggs and adds our dps on Vish stalled and we could not move him under 70%. Yesterday we had a lot of healers which is nice, but realistically we will need more dps than we can get with ~30 people at our current level. I am thinking that getting an extra group + a few more melee with blunt weapons for killing eggs will help us a lot... so maybe ~36 will be good.
I would like some feedback on the healing part... Zyk does not take much damage from Vish, so maybe a 2 cleric rotation is too much? We could try to go with just spams, but I still feel like a small CH chain might be better for such a long fight where there is no knockback or stun to interrupt the CHs. Maybe just 1 cleric chaining CHs + 1 or 2 spammers is enough? The more clerics we can free up to heal groups, the more druids/shammies we can free up for doing dps or other tasks.
Next time we will focus more on adds + focus extra on eggs while handling adds, since handling adds take a significant part of our blunt melee dps away.
Please give feedback about your experience on the fight... we need a lot of input on this one.
